The world-famous “89 Democratic Movement” began from the spring of 1989 to the morning of June 4th, when Chinese army bloodily suppressed the move, and ended by the army occupied the Tiananmen Square. The 89 “June 4th” incident was triggered by the communist regime sending armed force and armored car to enter the urban area of Beijing as well as Tiananmen Square, during the march of the army, the soldiers used machine guns and semi-automatic rifles to shot the students who launched rallies that “urge Chinese government punish corruption and to practice democratic political reform”, during which many students got killed, some students built a flesh wall, and the soldiers drove the armored cars toward the demonstrators to slaughtering the students and citizens, which leads hundreds of thousands deaths as well as thousands injures. The incident was later called the 89 “June 4th” incident.

Although the incident has passed 23 years, the Chinese government never faces it with a fair attitude, which also banning media to fairly report it, let alone allowing people to commemorate the incident by launching rallies. Those deceased in the incident are still bearing the charge of “mob”, whose relatives also suffer pains for a long time while could not find a place to seek justice.

After 23 years, we urge the Chinese government not to forget the “June 4th” incident, and hope it to respect the history. We also urge the government to release the truth of the incident, fairly and justly evaluating the incident, reasonably compensating the relatives of the deceased, and apologizing to them. In addition, it needs to boost democratic reform, rigidly publishing corruption, to build China into a country with democracy and freedom.
