Jin, Zhushan: Commemorate the 23rd anniversary of 89 “June 4th” Event
金洙山(Jin,Zhushan)
23 years ago, in the early morning of June 4th, 1989, the CCP government sent armed force, which includes several hundred thousand soldiers and using tanks and machine guns, to enter the unbar of Beijing as well as the Tiananmen Square. During the marching of the army, the soldiers willfully shot to forcibly slaughter the students and citizens who “demand to punish corruption, boosting democratic political reform”, hundreds of ralliers were killed. The communist government created the shocking 89 “June 4th” event.
23 years have passed, while the phenomenon of Chinese official corruption is getting worse. If the students only oppose to part of officials who are corrupt, today, the official corruption already turns to outright corruption that the corrupt officials directly put millions dollars into their pocket. As to such a serious problem of corruption, the government defends those corrupt officials rather than punish them.
For the Chinese youngsters, the “June 4th” event is only a historical sign; for the middle-aged people and the elders, the event is a special incident that remains in their memory; for those who personally participated in the event, the event is even more unforgettable. Today, we commemorate the 23rd anniversary of the “June 4th” event in memory of those people who sacrificed themselves for ideals. We believe that Chinese people’s pursuit of democracy and freedom will not stop, and China will definitely turn to a country with democracy, freedom, human rights, and the rule of law.
