Chinese Government consistently holds the concept, that the then government “handling” the incident was for the sake of the stability of the country, which was impelled by necessity, and also the army entered into the urban area did not open fire, neither killed anyone. This is lie. Many Chinese people, who experienced the democratic movement in 1989, saw the army entered into the unbar area of Beijing, as well as entered into the Tiananmen Square, and they witnessed some got killed by the army, some of whom died instantly.

The students and citizens who participated in the “June 4th” incident 23 years ago asked for the government to punish corrupt officials, and to launch political reform. After 23 years, the government has not launched any democratic political reform, while the phenomenon of official corruption is unprecedentedly serious, and people have no basic human rights. Although many Chinese people with conscience have not forgotten the “June 4th” event, they could not publicly mark the event in the eve of June 4th every year, to openly mourn the deceased in the event.

China needs democracy and freedom, and the people even need them more. In the process of the pursuit of democracy and freedom, we would meet more difficulties and would encounter dangers, but we must not give up, China’s democracy and freedom lie in the struggle of our own.
