Du, Ping: Urge China not to Forget June 4th Event in 1989

The unforgettable June 4th event has passed 23 years, back to the early morning of June 4th, 1989, Chinese government sent well-armed army to shoot the students and citizens who participated in the rally in Beijing, which caused thousands deaths. This cruel history deeply roots in the heart of hundreds of millions of Chinese people.
Chinese people would never forget the deceased, who lost their lives for the belief of democracy and freedom, in the June 4th event in 1989. For 23 years, the government uses various methods to ban the reports of the event, as well as to ban the spread of articles and materials relate to the event, in order to delete the event from people’s memory.
After 23 years, the government keeps implementing the great power policy to prevent people from expressing their ideas to the event, the government decides everything. We urge Chinese government to seriously treat the June 4th slaughter in 1989, start to implement democratic political reform, to realize democratic freedom system in China.
