Lin, Yongchun: Urge Chinese Government to Improve Human Rights Situation

Chinese people have no basic human rights, factories bankrupting causes workers lose jobs, forcible land acquisition makes farms lose lands that they live on; children in some places cannot afford to go to school, and many elders cannot afford medical expenses. Although people have complains toward government officials, and are not satisfied with the performance of the government, and hold different opinions against some governmental policies, they find no place to express grievance due to there is no freedom of speech in China.
The current government officials hold state power, and they get involved in corruption for a long time, meanwhile, persecuting ordinary people. If the people have dissents and to get organized to petition to protect rights, they are likely to be arrested, detained and even to be persecuted to injury and to death.
Human rights situation in China is keep deteriorating, no signs of progress in improving human rights situation by the government, we appeal Chinese government to comply with Universal Declaration of Human Rights as to human rights problem, launching practical works to improve human rights, and to improve the human rights situation in China by practical actions.
