Chinese government has long advocated for economic development, the aftermath of the high-speed development and the high benefit is the severe environmental pollution, which poses direct devastation and affection to ecological balance in China. Today, in many places of China, desertization and forest destruction have been emerged, which aggravates the greenhouse effect, more acid rain has resulted in, as well as the ozonosphere got damaged. From the above stated, we can see the environmental pollution caused great damage to the human society.
Environmental pollution will directly affect people’s living quality, health, and production activities. For example, air pollution results in the increase of morbidity; water pollution decreases the quality of water resource, and threatens people’s health, etc. The severe problem of environmental pollution not only brings health problems to human, but also social problems.
With the globalization of economy, the problem of environmental pollution has increasingly received attentions from the countries around the world. We appeal Chinese government to, along with developing economy, emphasize environmental protection, and to increase the investment in environmental protection, enhancing the enforcement of relevant law, to make a contribution to the environmental protection.
