Li, Xiaping: Offical Corrutpion Will Definitely Hurt People’s Interests

For many years, the phenomenon of official corruption in China is always there, and such a severe problem hurts the country and the people a lot. Most of Chinese officials are greedy and evil, who take advantage of the state power in their hands to engage in illegal power-for-money deal, and to seizure national resources by improper means, to privatize public assets; in their work, they oppress people, exploit people, to fill their own pocket. The biggest victim is the ordinary people.
The Chinese ordinary people belong to vulnerable group, who have no right to property, right to know, right to supervise, nor right to vote. They long live in the bottom of Chinese society without power; deceived by the government and the corrupt officials, many invest their money earned by blood and sweat into stock market, and lost all of them in the financial market controlled by the government. In the end, they receive no compensation or justice.
The power of Chinese officials is beyond the law, the power is like a wild horse, and as a consequence, corruption is increasingly getting worse. Corruption is damaging Chinese people’s basic rights, and adds their living cost; the increasingly worsen corruption demonstrates the backwardness of Chinese society system. Therefore, only by reforming the system of Chinese society and realizing democracy, freedom and the rule of law, could execute effective anti-corruption.
