Zhang, Jichao: China’s Education Corruption Hurts Chinese People

As we all know, China’s corruption exists everywhere, the power in the hand of a department would definitely results in corruption in various scales, where the most corrupt place is the government, and most of the people who get involved in the corruption are officials. We can say that corruption exists in every industry, including the education department and schools. In most of Chinese people’s opinion, teachers should be a model of virtue for others that respected by everyone. The current teachers, however, are also getting involved in corruption; the department of China’s education management department, including the schools, is no longer clean, the corruption in education has escalated.
Education corruption mainly embodies in follow aspects:
1, Corruption has spread among the teachers, the teachers once were the models for others are now try their best to make money.
2, The officials of education management embezzle educational expenditure, some principals set up various reasons to privately share the money.
3, Corruption in academy, by using low quality “academic result” to exchange academic expenditure, and even make up documents and files.
The corruption in education challenges the bottom line of the morality in Chinese society, the corruption, for the hundreds of thousands of children who receive education, is a intangible killing, for they are innocent, and they are the future of the country, Chinese education has sank to such a situation, which hurts Chinese people indeed. If the Chinese government does not take any measure to punish the educational corruption, then, the education in China will has no future.
