Jin, Rilong: Chinese Government Cannot Ignore Environmental Pollution Problem

Environmental pollution always threatens the health and life security of human, and the environmental problem in China’s area is deteriorating, especially air and water pollution. The primary cause of the pollution is the direct discharging of waste gas and water from factories, automobiles, and many people infect diseases of the respiratory system and visual organ disorders. Besides, the sound pollution and food safety problem directly harm people’s health.
The Chinese government, for the purpose of economic development, ignores the problem of environmental pollution, which leads to lower levels of environmental quality as well as the destruction of eco-system. All these pose an extremely negative impact on Chinese people’s health and sustainable development.
We hope the Chinese government to strengthen the control of the discharging rate of poisonous materials, to improve the supervision of legal implementation, to develop environmental friendly industries, and to maintain the balance of eco-system. Except for the improvement of the legal implementation of environmental law and the supervision of environmental protection, the government also has to pay attention to foster the conscience of environmental protection among the people, to encourage NGOs of environmental protection, and make a contribution to the environmental protection.
