Zhang, Jianjun: China’s Birth-Control Policy is Unpopular

The Chinese government sets the birth-control policy as its basic state policy, and has implemented it for more than 30 years. The facts show that, the decades’ implementation of the birth-control policy leaded to most of the families have only one child, resulting in the population imbalance. Today, the problem of aging population had arrived early, giving rise to a series of social problems such as supporting the old, the poor medical condition, etc.
Most of the Chinese officials are corruptors, who always ignore people’s lives and the basic human rights of women when executing the birth-control policy. During the execution of the policy, they even use forcible methods to prevent the birth of the baby, such as ligation, abortion, and induction. Those so-called public servants could do any bad thing you can name.
A society, a government, only by respecting the lives and following the natural rules, could it keeps a good social environment and natural environment. The birth-control policy is a mistake that its product is serious. It is a fact that China has the problems of overpopulation, lacking of sources, hardship in receiving education, employment and medical treatment, and low living standard. The birth-control policy in China has implemented till today, the Chinese government should no longer treat its people as pure consumers but producers. The birth-control policy is the most severe distort in understanding the people. We urge the Chinese government to stop the execution of the birth-control policy as soon as possible.
