Liu, Zhen: China should stop “One Child” Policy immediately

The Chinese “One Child” policy is hurting the vast amount of fertile women every day. When the policy was made, the only purpose was to control population. From the point of government, “One Child” policy could be good.
However, after 30-year implementation of “One Child” policy, violent enforcement creates large amount of persecution cases, such as forced ligature, abortion of many women of Childbearing age. The Majority of Chinese women have to experience tremendous persecution in physical and mental oppression for more than decades. Hundreds of millions of Chinese women have experienced nightmares of “one child” policy, suffering depression, fear, and even mental disorders and other diseases.
The “One Child” policy, since the first day of implementation, has deprived of basic human rights of Chinese women, led to serious imbalance between amount of men and women, which has destroyed the Chinese population structure. The fact has proved that, Chinese “One Child” policy is harmful to the country and the Chinese people, which should be stopped immediately.
