Zhang, Chengli: The Chinese government must vigorously control environmental pollution

For over six decades, Chinese government vigorously promotes the development of economy. The environment has been destroyed, and causing environmental pollution is getting worse of the entire region. Chinese government officials connive the many acts of sabotage on the environment in order to develop the economy, such as deforestation of forest, resulting in patches of forest disappear; frequent sand and dust storms on the destruction of wetlands and grasslands in so many cities in China; some mountainous areas often outbreaks the mudslides so that people died in natural disasters.
Economy is growing up on one side, and the environment is destroyed on other side. Both of them have become increasingly prominent. The air, water and food are polluted in this area; increasing environmental pollution brings the negative impact to the development of Chinese society. If the Chinese government does not pay attention to environmental protection, which means self-destruct their homes, over time, many Chinese people will have no where to go.
We hope that the Chinese government could fundamentally control environmental pollution, and protection of the environment is the responsibility of all countries in the world. Chinese government must strengthen environmental protection legislation and law enforcement, every Chinese people should have the awareness of environmental protection, so consciously environment protection could become living a section of Chinese people.
