The Chinese government does not give the people should have the freedom of speech. Chinese people can not talk about historical events, can not talk about the past, only praises. Chinese people can not freely express their thoughts, one can not raise objections only to conform to public opinion, go with the tide. However, in this highly developed technology, the era of the rapid progress of human technology, civilization, control freedom of expression is not possible. Freedom and democracy is the eternal pursuit of the Chinese people, the Chinese people can not freely express their views, the government is doing is unreasonable.
Because the Chinese government in power know that once people have freedom of speech, one-party authoritarian regime under threat. Therefore, the Chinese government consumes a lot of manpower, material and financial resources to control the news media and the Internet, by all means to restrict people＇s freedom of speech. Although China＇s constitutional provisions that people have the right to freedom of expression, but these merely formal text, the Constitution formed dummy.
The Chinese government restrictions on the practice of freedom of speech of the people, completely contrary to the concept of democracy and freedom. Anyone has the right to freedom of expression, the everyone needs freedom of speech, freedom of expression is a basic human right issues in the government can not flout. The Chinese government must understand that restrictions on freedom of expression of all acts are futile, full liberalization of the freedom of speech is the inevitable trend of historical development.
