Wei, Chunfa: It is Chinese People’s Dream to Have an Elected Government

Today’s China, under the surface of economic prosperity, there are people’s bitterness and difficulty; there are people’s blood and tears. Over the years, the Chinese Communist government’s ability to govern is decreasing with each passing year. Let one party rule China is not appropriate any more. China needs a multi-party constitutional system which letting parties make turns to rule; China needs an elected government; China needs a large number of elected officials. This is Chinese people’s dream.
Chinese dream is every citizen’s dream. Letting all the people have citizen’s basic rights, and walking toward prosperity gradually in life, this is hundreds of millions of Chinese people’s common dream and common expectation. For public, being able to live in spacious house, enjoy good public services, have Medicare, letting Children have good education and elder can see doctors and have enough pension. This is good life Chinese people are expecting.
We hope that the Chinese government can carry out the reform of democracy and freedom, implement democratic elections, realizing rule of constitutional government, severely punishing corruption, and safeguarding fairness and justice. The majority of the Chinese people should work together, make the dream of democracy and freedom becomes a reality.
