Zhao Hongzhen: Anti Corrupted System is the First Step of Anti Corruption

One-party dictatorship is the characteristics of China＇s social system. Government officials monopolized all the powers of this country. As to government official, the law has no restrict on their power. The country’s Constitution has no real power. So the power in government officials’ hands is absolute power; and there is no question that absolute power would leads to absolute corruption. Since more and more people are involved in corruption, China becomes one of the most corrupted countries.
Since there is a lot of corruption, there must be an environment that is suitable for the surviving of corruption. The root reason for such serious corruption is China’s system. China＇s authoritarian is not only an irrational system, but also a corrupted system. China’s legislature and judiciary are not independent, and it has a vague relationship with the administration. This makes a lot of convenience for the happening of corruption.
Today the Chinese government has realized that serious corruption would destroy the country, so every successive government is promoting anti-corruption. Since the system government followed is corrupted, the anti-corruption cannot be effective. Only by implementing a democratic system, letting legislative, judicial and administrative power be separated, can the corruption problem be solved.
