Environmental safety and food safety are linked together; they are two major factors in people’s modern life. With economic development, environmental destruction is deteriorating. And this problem is extremely serious in China. It is becoming more obvious that China’s food safety is under the impact of environment.
At present, the environmental pollution problem in China is no longer a simple economic problem, or simply a strategic issue, it has been gradually rising to a major issue impacting China’s economic development and restricting the issues of social, political, economic, cultural, and people＇s livelihood. Some food produced in certain places is toxic. The toxins are from raw materials, such as grain, vegetables, fruits growing from areas with severe environmental pollution.
It has been approved that environmental pollution is the primary factor in causing food safety issues. Food insecurity directly threats people＇s physical health. And it has troubled Chinese people many years. If the government do not implement rule of law, do not pay attention to environmental protection, and do not curb environmental pollution, Chinese people’s food safety would never be guaranteed, and Chinese people could never live in a real happy life.
