Du, Fucheng: Urge the Chinese Government to Control Pollution and Protect the Environment

The root cause of China’s environmental pollution has been there for a long time and is complicated. Air, water and natural environment have been severely polluted. The key to protect environment is depending on how the Chinese government would do. In the international community, there are more and more criticize on China’s environmental problems. International environmental conference on climate issue became the focus; however the environmental work the Chinese government takes does not prove to be effective. The plan of reducing emission can never be finished.
Today, China’s environmental problem has become world’s important issue. Chinese government’s promoting on environmental protection is waning. Before, the Chinese government focuses on promoting economic development; the environment was damaged in varies degrees, resulting China＇s air crises and water problem. Environmental pollution brought harm to people’s body and their normal life.
Protecting earth is protecting our homeland. Protecting environment is every human being’s responsibility, and is every government’s responsibility. We ask the Chinese government pay attention to the environmental protection in the principle of taking responsibility to people. The government has to advocate all the people to protect environment, and raise public’s awareness of environmental protection. In addition, those government officials who have done a good job in environmental protection work should be promoted; and those working units which have a good performance in environmental protection should be rewarded. The main focus should be controlling industrial pollution, protecting the environment.
