Chen Yuming: Building China into a Constitutional and Democratic Country

China＇s one-party rule has significant long-term institutional deficiencies, and the most prominent problem is legitimacy problem brought by the Chinese Communist Party’s one party dictatorship. On this regard, the majority of Chinese people have realized this problem. We must point out: the result caused by Chinese Communist Party’s long term dictatorship is serious social problems, and they are the main reflection of China’s social crisis, relating to China’s politics, economy, culture, morality, resources, environment, ethnic relations and big problems in international community and other related fields. Solving China’s one party dictatorship and promoting China’s democratic reform will determine China＇s future and people’s destiny.
It is a common idea that China’s social system has flaw. It is up to Chinese government’s attitude to choose the way to solve this problem and open democratic political reform in China. There is a big difference in China’s democratic movement and Chinese Communist party’s governing philosophy. The Chinese Communist party’s dominance hierarchy is subject to the pattern of power and interest. They never have determination to implement real reform, and continue use state monopolies. Therefore, the Chinese Communist authorities certainly do not want to promote democratic and political reform.
The government still rejects democratic and political reform, uses violence to repress people’s pursue of democracy and freedom; and the government officials continue to be corrupted. What is waiting ahead is an unrest society and people’s revolt. The end result will lead to the disintegration of Chinese Communist party’s one-party dictatorship, and China will become a multi-party democratic and constitutional country.
