China＇s environmental pollution is very serious, in addition to air pollution--one of the most easily perceived pollution, water pollution and soil pollution problems are also very prominent. In order to increase economic efficiency, many local businesses reduce production costs, and do not control gas emissions, waste water, and solid waste, resulting in severe environmental pollution. Its degree is far beyond people＇s imagination.
Environmental Protection in China is facing severe challenges; the emissions and discharges of traditional pollutants such as gas, water and waste is still large, it is completely over the carrying capacity of the natural environment. The Chinese government＇s policy is to get rich first, resulting many sequels caused by pollution. The heavily polluted air in China already has adverse impacts to the surrounding countries and regions. Now it has been across the Pacific Ocean, affecting residents of the U.S. West Coast.
To the whole world, China＇s environmental problem has become a potential threat. As an economically developed and populous country, the Chinese government should become an environmentally responsible government. It should increase investment in environmental protection, and make strict law enforcement, making contribution to environmental protection.
