Wang, Cong: Only by Reforming the System, Can Corruption be Controlled
王聪(Wang,Cong)
In Chinese society, where is power, where is corruption. If the government has power, then the government is corrupted; if government officials have power, then they would be corrupted; business people can use money to buy power, they are corrupted. Serious corruption has given the majority of the Chinese people an unfair life. Many people have suffered great oppression and persecution from corrupted officials, and they are always lack of basic human rights.
Facing serious corrupted problems, in order to stabilize society and appease the people, the Chinese communist government introduces anti-corruption system year after year, adopts a series of anti-corruption measures, and has captured many corrupted person. However, there is no suppression of corruption, and it is increasingly intensified.
Chinese Communist government and its government officials control all the power, and their power is not restrict by law, it is the so called “absolute power”. Absolute power leads to absolute corruption, which is a universally accepted rule. In just a few decades, the Chinese Communist government has turned China into one of the most corrupted countries. However, the government does not look for causes from the system, and anti-corruption has not achieved good results. The main reason of China’s uncontrollable corruption is social system. Therefore, anti-corruption must start from the reform of the social system. Only under a democratic system, will anti-corruption be successful.
