China's economic development, the environment, but in an increasingly deteriorating, China at all levels of government in order to develop the economy, to promote long-term industrial development, the pursuit of high value, do not pay attention to environmental protection, many factories will not be treated industrial wastewater directly into rivers and lakes; will not be treated industrial emissions in the air, some cities everywhere towering smokestacks, the air was filled with smoke emits unusual odors; industrial and domestic waste lack of complete processing means, so many solid waste piles.
On the other hand, a large number of open natural resources, mining, large-scale deforestation. Leading Chinese regions forests and grassland area in rapid decline, accelerated desertification, leading to abnormal climate change, drought and flood disaster, frequent natural disasters, limited water resources are gradually depleted.
Due to environmental degradation, the living environment in China is facing a potential threat, as the government must be aware of environmental degradation affect China's future and development. Chinese government many officials blindly pursue economic development, environmental protection, long-term lack of attention and investment, coupled with the lack of public environmental philosophy, government efforts to curb environmental degradation and means weakness. We strongly urge the Chinese government environmental policy reform, attention to environmental protection, for the benefit of future generations.
