Wang, Qingkai: Commemorating June 4th Event, Promoting Democratic Reform
王庆凯(Wang,Qingkai)
24 years ago, on June 4, 1989, the Chinese government commanded the armed forces, deployed tanks to violently suppress the protest rally participated by tens of thousands of students and the public who required the government punish corrupt officials and have a free and democratic reform. Hundreds of students and people died in the blood, and thousands of people were injured.
24 years later, China's corruption is not only beyond control, but also intensified. All the government officials, regardless of the title, all are involved in corruption. As government, it does not look for the cause of corruption, and also protects these corrupt government officials, helps them to find excuses to exculpate.
Chinese people’s step in pursuing democracy has never stopped. They never give up even they have experienced many difficulties. We strongly urge the Chinese government to punish corruption and implement democratic reform. The Chinese people are looking forward to an early arrival of democracy in China.
