Between spring and summer in 1989, a democratic movement with largest ever number of participants happened in Beijing, China. Students and other citizens in big cities all over the country responded to it; they organized all kinds of rallies to support the people in Beijing, demanding anti-corruption and democratic reform. However, the Chinese government mobilized the armed forces in the early morning of June 4 1989; they used violent means to suppress this great democratic movement.

24 years have passed, the Chinese people are still asking the government to punish corruption, fighting for freedom and democracy. Only more Chinese people participate in the ranks of pursuing democracy and freedom, call on the government to start democratic political reform, and gradually promote the construction of China's democratization, can China be built into a democratic and free country.

Today, while learning about the truth of June 4th event in 1989, Chinese people have to learn June 4th spirit, letting people see the great meaning of implementing democracy and freedom. We have to tell people that do not have any dream on Chinese government’s tyranny. Only by spreading the June 4th spirit, ending the one party ruling system in China and implementing multi-party democracy and constitutional system, can China have hope.
