Zhang, Hongqing: Only by Implementing Democracy, can the Human Rights in China be Improved
张洪庆(Zhang,Hongqing)
Chinese people have no human rights, and many people do not understand what is human rights, and what kind of human rights they have. Because the Chinese government do not let people know what is human rights, and they do not publish human rights for their own interests. As to the philosophy of human rights, the media under government’s control just keep silent. So there is no reasonable explanation for the basic concepts of human rights in China. In the government’s view, if people have human rights, government’s power and interest would be damaged. Chinese government is doing things that would damage people while saying they are serving people. They even say that China’s biggest human right is the right of subsistence. The Chinese government’s meaning is very simple, if people can live, then that is human rights. It is absolutely lie.
Human rights is a universal value recognized by people of the world, and it is also the rights given by God. A country has or not has human rights is an important criterion to measure if the Country has rule or law or not, and it is also a standard to measure weather a country has a democratic system or autocratic system.
Facing Chinese Communist party’s one-party dictatorship, the Chinese people in China are required to establish a multi-party democratic constitutional system, and on this basis, to gradually improve human rights in China. China should accept the proposal to improve China’s human rights situation, and let China walk toward the road of democracy and freedom. Only by implementing democracy, can the human rights in China be improved
