Lin, Wenfeng: China's Environmental Pollution is Deteriorating
林文风(Lin,Wenfeng)
China's environmental problem is becoming more and worrying. The environmental problem is showing in several aspects: first, the air in China is not good. The transparency is very poor, there are a lot of dusts in the air, and there is abnormal odor in the industrialized areas; second, the water quality is not good. There is excess breach in the living water, rivers and lakes in some areas are polluted. Third, there are all kinds of garbage. Household waste and industrial waste piled up everywhere, and the government’s ability to do waste disposal is inadequate.
Because of the long-term environmental pollution, the climate in China is very abnormal. In recent years, there is always dust storm phenomenon in China's northern region. Sometimes, people can see sand falling like rain. Recently, many areas in China have fog and haze in large areas. The duration is as long as to several days, and makes the daytime like night time. Facts have showed that China's ecological environment is deteriorating.
The Chinese government put economic development as the focus of work. Government officials’ blind pursuit of economic output without considering environmental pollution makes China’s environment become worse. People leave a large number of industrial, agricultural and domestic garbage piled up in the natural environment without any treatment; discharge the industrial waste water directly into rivers. A bundle of environmental pollution data is proving China's environment is deteriorating. We hope the Chinese government can pay great attention on environmental protection, and create a clean and beautiful home for all the people.
