Lu,Huimin: Chinese People have the Right to Pursue Democracy and Freedom

For a longtime, the Chinese Communist government upholds the wrong autocratic system; the government is corrupt, government officials are corrupt. To corrupt government officials, China’s law is just written on paper, does not have any action, which made many violent cases happen. I was working in oil Pump Company in Shenyang, China, our factory director colluded with government officials to take public money, and secretly sell the factory equipment. He also did not pay worker’s wages on time. We met together to ask for an explanation, but were driven by security and police.
Chinese people’s basic human rights are deprived; they have lost their dignity as human beings. Facing poor ordinary people, the corrupt government officials do not show any mercy; and China’s prosperity is just on surface. The Chinese society needs freedom and human rights, needs a democratic and constitutional system where multi-parties can take turns in power.
I attended China Democracy Party in America, and become one of the members. I have participated in many rallies organized by China Democracy party and also published many articles on internet. However, the policemen from Chinese Communist government repeatedly threatened my family in China, slandering that I attempt to subvert state power. I strongly protest. We want to warn the Chinese Communist government that there is nothing wrong to pursue democracy and freedom, and there is nothing wrong to ask for human rights and rule of law.
