Ding, Fugui: Once again Sing the Song of June 4th in 1989

Today is the 24th anniversary of June 4th event in 1989. We sang one song after another commemorating June 4th event. The lyric of one song is written like this: I am singing this tragic song, singing it to the motherland with lots disasters. In the early morning of June 4th, the moment that martyr died; singing this tragic song, traveling to every corner of the world. For the freedom of China, Fight! Fight! Fight!
We overseas Chinese once again gathered in front of the China Consulate General in New York, and sang this song again. June 4th event in 1989 has passed 24 years, however, the sound of gunfire in June 4th feels still there, and the tears and blood are still not dry. The history can never be changed, and it would be there forever. The victims still do not get the justices, and nation’s pain is still there.
Commemorating the 24th anniversary of June 4th event, we hope the Chinese government can respect history, restore the history, and correctly evaluate this event. Let us remember the June 4th event in 1989 forever. I strongly urge the Chinese government to investigate June 4th event, find the person who should take responsibility, openly apology to the public, stop violence and achieve constitutional democracy.
