Peng, Qian: One-child policy is a serious crime against the Chinese people
彭谦(Peng, Qian)
The biggest scale of government human right violation in the world is China's so called "One-child policy" which mandatory implemented nationwide since 1979 to have only one child per family. The policy affected one fifth of the world population. It come with slogan like population control, optimize population structure, reduce social pressures and so on. It sounds nice but in fact as a human begin the most crucial human right is to live which has been stripped from Chinese people. This violation shows how CCP disregard the most fundamental human right. In order to implement the policy, government branches and sections from high level down to street level were formed. The government staff use violent against woman who didn't follow the policy including abortions, forced sterilization, and infanticides...The process is full of cruelty. As a long term national policy, it created countless harm and tragedy to the people for three decades. As a result, China suffered severed social problems from discriminate in favor of sons, abandoned child, gender imbalance and so on. I was born after the policy implemented. I was too young to understand the impact to people back in China but I gain awareness and fully understand the severity since I join China Democracy Party. CCP's "One-child policy" is a serious crime against human right. Anyone with conscience would agree this crime has to put to a stop at once in order to end the suffering of Chinese people; to return freedom, human right and dignity back to Chinese women.
