Although the Chinese pension system in the establishment of some aspects of the reform and exploration, but China's current pension system is still a typical PAYG system.
From international experience, this kind of system can only meet three conditions exist, otherwise it will be difficult to sustain.
The first is a relatively young population structure, that is, enough to feed the existing population of working age retirees. The second is an effective tax system, which allows the country to raise funds needed for pensions. The third is to get a good pension fund management and supervision to achieve the right investment and accurate payment.
Obviously the second and third condition China does not yet have, and the first condition ── enough to feed the working-age population ── retired population is also a growing problem.
Chinese words if you do not protect the pension paid from the system, will inevitably lead to social unrest in China, I hope the Chinese community safe.
