Zhang, Xiaoli: democracy can restrict corruption
张晓莉(Zhang, Xiaoli)
Everyone has a greed for money of the heart, which is the human innate weaknesses. Has the power in the hands of one person, if such powers without supervision and restraint, and will definitely corrupt. Today, Chinese society on the issue of corruption, it is caused by a corrupt autocracy, officers authoritarian regime under the power in their hands without supervision and legal constraints of the people, can do whatever they want, corruption arises. The people are the victims, officials involved in corruption are also victims.
Chinese community's awareness of the problem of corruption, the people have the same conclusion, and that is not subject to the supervision of the authoritarian regime, is the root of corruption. If China does not reform from the system, but simply anti-corruption, not only difficult to have effect, but also a waste of time and energy, how to do it? Only through democratic reform, the establishment of a democratic system in China ordered that the powers of government and officials subject to supervision, in order to restrict a fundamental problem of corruption.
