According to the Washington Post reported on December 4 Chinese Constitution Day, six former Chinese police from Heilongjiang Zhongnanhai in Beijing tried to commit suicide by taking poison, to protest unfair treatment of local government.
6 unemployed police to extreme behavior protest the Chinese government＇s unfair, fortunately, no successful suicide.
They themselves do not have a crime, they hope that the Chinese government dealt with leniently.
According to Article 35 of the Chinese Constitution, citizens have freedom of speech, press, assembly, association, of procession and of demonstration.
In the constitution, the government arrested the day democracy activists to prevent them entering the Tiananmen Square.
Chinese government has spent a lot of national taxes, high pressure processing democracy activists, do not fulfill the constitutional rights of citizens, serious abuses of basic rights of citizens.
The reason for this, totalitarian one-party dictatorship of the Communist Party of China, there is no body to monitor the Chinese government regards the right of the party over the constitution, the government did not act according to the law. That has caused this mess.
But the rule of law and the centralization of the dictatorship, and ultimately can not simultaneously exist in a country.
In a democratic society, citizens elected government, but also gives the government the power to supervise the government, the government act in accordance with the law, democracy and the rule of law is the twins.
I appeal to the Chinese government put the party on the right under the law, focusing on protection of the fundamental rights of citizens.
