August 28, 1963, Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered one of the finest speeches, later know as "I have a Dream, "at Washington D.C. " I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.'......" his speech deeply influenced that people paid attention to the desperate condition of blacks in the southern U.S. In his efforts, African Americans living environment gradually improved, and little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers. King used nonviolent civil disobedience in order for African Americans' civil rights. This is also our China Democracy Party's goal. Using nonviolent civil disobedience achieves Freedom of speech, democracy, human-rights and law in China. Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. His dream sustained every African Americans who suffered misery, and his eloquent statement and nonviolent civil disobedience made his county stronger and better.
