Jin, Zhushan: Chinese eighty percent of urban air quality standards
金洙山(Jin, Zhushan)
China's official release statistics, disclosed the mainland more than eighty percent of the city, air quality has greatly exceeded pollution standards, especially the northern city of haze phenomenon frequently occurs, a serious decline in the urban areas visibility, traffic congestion accident continued, stale air quality deterioration, people travel in breathing difficulties, many have to wear a mask.
Urban smog caused frequent causes, including rapidly increasing cause a lot of automobile emissions, the manufacturing sector continues to expand causing serious industrial pollution, and energy demand led to a sharp growth in coal-fired power generation and the like.
These factors make the whole continent into a huge construction site, chimney smoke billowing everywhere, among people living in the pandemonium.
In recent years the Chinese authorities have taken measures to control the haze phenomenon, including Guantingbingzhuan some key polluting enterprises, the development of hydroelectric energy replace coal-fired power generation, urban vehicles blindly increasing restrictions, etc., but the effect is very limited.
Because the primary policy objective authorities, it is still high growth of the national economy, environmental governance only as a secondary consideration, so despite verbal shouting governance, practically no significant effect.
Air pollution, not just to have a policy, the more important is to have a scientific method.
