The most tragic plight of farmers in China, the hukou system makes them second-class citizens, lack of social security income is low, farmland homestead was conscripted lose their homes, migrant workers are discriminated against exclusion.
Many disaffected farmers to express their dissatisfaction by petition, but did not have much effect.
Experience elsewhere in the world is that farmers must organize themselves collectively to defend their rights, so that the increased strength of the effect is obvious.
Farmers ＇organizations in many countries have active today, such as the United States there is a strong farmer associations, they unite to develop agricultural prices, farmers＇ welfare as well as the negotiations for a government subsidy, very strongly defended the interests of farmers.
Chinese Communist Party has always been very discriminatory to farmers, workers as well as official trade unions, farmers and even hundreds of millions of farmers will have no official dispersing weakness suffered bullying.
China is now the rural folk who have been brewing up a "China National Farmers Association," although by the CCP to suppress multiple applications have been rejected, but the peasant activists never give up, still trying to fight, I believe that in the near future, some mainland farmers to have their own organizations.
