Wang, Jinping: CPC ’deprivation of political rights ’violations of human rights
王金萍(Wang, Jinping)
Chinese authorities against some criminals, especially for so-called political prisoners, prisoners of conscience, when sentenced, often declared several years in prison, but also add on 'deprivation of political rights "provisions for several years.
According to the CCP criminal law, these political rights, including the right to vote and stand for election, the right to hold public office in the state organs, as well as speech and press rights association, assembly, and so on.
These provisions of the CCP, is a serious violation of the UN Charter and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Because according to these international human rights instruments, the citizens of speech and press rights association, assembly, and so on, not to deprive of political rights, but inherent natural rights, men enjoy, are strictly protected by state laws.
Other countries in the world, for the torture of prisoners (including prisoners on parole and probation), usually deprived of their right to vote and the right to hold public office, without any right of the speech published by the State Penal assembly and association included in the scope deprived. CPC openly put basic human rights as an additional penalty to be denied, and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is a wanton violation of the UN Charter.
