Shao，Yixiao：The Chinese government should solve the education corruption

In today’s China, the corruption becomes rampant in educational and academic filed. Because of Communist Party of China (CPC)’s one-part autocracy, the historical ritual collapsed, the social moral bankrupted, the official corruption widespread, the Chinese education also appeared in crisis. Education is a public welfare undertaking, the essence of education lies in teaching and educating people, however the Chinese government started the process of education marketization and industrialization in the 1990s, driving by the economic interests, unreasonable education charge proliferated, students and parents all suffered miserably from various levies, fund raising and arbitrary charges. School, the sacred place to spread of knowledge and to cultivate the moral, has now become mercenary, profitable, income-generating enterprises. College enrollment is an example of the educational corruption chaos in China, the corruption in Chinese higher education, academic corruption as well as the CPC official corruption, are all results due to the lack of oversight over the authority, in terms of enrollment, the school administrative has the power to recruit students without any limitation, this is bound to breed corruption, China should establish a modern school system, at the meantime, limit administrative power to interfere with academic education. Educational administration issues must be properly treated, otherwise the quality of China’s education cannot be improved, and the education fairness cannot be truly realized. Education can revitalize the country and enhance the moral cultivation, the Chinese government should focus on education corruption problem, reform its education system, improve the quality of education, so that education can return to its essence.
