Li,Ruqiang:China’s official protector
李汝强(Li,Ruqiang)
It is very difficult for people in mainland China to sue officials. It is even more difficult to sue the government. Moreover, it is difficult to win a lawsuit.
Let's take a look at the actual situation. The Shanghai court administrative case system has accepted more than 200 administrative lawsuits filed by civilians against officials in recent years. As the defendant, the Shanghai Municipal Government has not lost a single case, which is the so-called zero loss.
Moreover, it is not only Shanghai, but also a large number of Chinese provinces, cities, districts, and counties that have zero losses in administrative response.
In mainland China, some government agencies are committed to blackmail and extortion. Officials are tyrannical. In order to protect their own rights and interests, the people file administrative lawsuits with the judiciary, sue government agencies and officials, and demand social justice.
However, all the lawsuits against the government were completely unwinnable, reflecting that the judicial institutions in Mainland China have been completely degenerate and have become shameful accomplices to the bureaucrats.
The fact that mainland government agencies have zero losses in administrative litigation also shows that the CCP’s so-called rule of law and judicial independence have not been reflected at all. What is reflected is the protection of officials.
Only when the judiciary is independent can China talk about the rule of law.
