Qi，Bo ：The people of China and Hong Kong should strive for democracy together

July 14, 2021 is the taboo of Xiaobo Liu, a member of China democratic movement. Hong Kong social organizations held memorial activities and expressed solidarity with all political prisoners. Haoming Huang ,chairman of LSD( political party), said that democracy in Hong Kong and Chinese mainland are inseparable. Only China that truly realizes democratic constitutionalism can give a happy life to the people of the mainland, Hong Kong and Macao. Therefore, Hong Kong people should strive for democracy with the people of the mainland. He pointed out that Xiaobo Liu was imprisoned because of Charter 2008. More than 100 people were arrested in Hong Kong in one year after the implementation of the Hong Kong version of the national security law. Many Democrats are regarded as subversive of state power and have been put into prison. Haoming Huang believes that the boundary of the national security law is vague. He was worried about the legal risks of the petition .He will act with a cautious attitude at any time. But if the regime does not agree with the views and opinions of LSD and even thinks that a memorial activity is inflammatory, he has nothing to say.He can only leave it to the public and history to judge. Haoming Huang was prosecuted by the authorities and faced the risk of imprisonment before this speech. When a reporter asked whether LSD could continue to operate. He responded that the party do have a crisis of destroying under the circumstances of power without justice. But it will not happen because of his imprisonment. He believes that this activity is not only to mourn Xiaobo Liu and support all political prisoners, but also to set an example to all the people in Hong Kong . As long as they stick to their beliefs ,they should continue to talk and do. He does not expect everyone to become such a great man as Vaclav Havel and Gandhi, but he hopes everyone can have a conscience and live in reality. As a light in the darkness, it can lead us to a happy situation and a glorious era of democracy.
