Shao,Yixiao:The Human Rights situation in China Continues to Deteriorate
邵一校(Shao,Yixiao)
On March 30, 2021, the U.S. State Department issued 2020 annual human rights report, and the section of China is as long as 88 pages. The human rights report calls China an “authoritarian country”, the report also points out that the human rights in China continues to deteriorate. The social environment in China is toxic today, corruption among CCP (Chinese Communist Party) officials is prevalent and their morals are degraded; Almost any righteous people who dare to criticize CCP would be persecuted by the government. In recent years, the human rights status in China is getting worse and worse, and it is heading to the worst situation. The political environment in China is deteriorating every day. Government’s credibility is getting lower and lower, the image of government officials in people’s mind becomes more and more greedy. CCP Officials lack ethics, know the law and violate the law, and abuse power for personal gain. CCP officials disregard the lives, property and basic interests of the people and trample on human right wantonly. The common people in China use their tax money to raise a group of officials who are unreasonable and endanger the interest of common people. The personal safety of common people has not been protected for a long time, let alone basic human right. For many years, the Chinese people have paid a heavy price for human rights. Here, we call on the Chinese people not to place hope on the current government any more. Human rights in China must rely on the Chinese themselves to struggle for and fight for.
