Shao,Yixiao :The China Communist Party’s one-party dictatorship is the source of corruption
邵一校(Shao,Yixiao)
The power of the CCP’s (China Communist Party) autocratic government is not subject to supervision, and the lack of supervision leads to corruption. The Chinese Communist government stipulates: let the people supervise the government. This is simply impossible. The People’s Republic of China is an authoritarian state in which the Chinese Communist Party is the paramount authority, Communist Party members hold almost all top government and security apparatus positions. Ultimate authority rests with the Communist Party Central Committee’s 25-member Political Bureau (Politburo) and its seven-member Standing Committee, in this cruel reality, who dare to supervise the paramount authority? In China under the one-party dictatorship of the CCP, the basic human rights of ordinary people are arbitrarily trampled, and the freedom of speech is ruthlessly deprived, the government’s control over the people is everywhere, George Orwell described this in his political satire “1984” vividly, “it was one of those pictures which are so contrived that the eyes follow you about when you move, BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU…” This can only be done is an authoritarian government where the people have constrained basic right. Those corrupt officials of the CCP government protect and shield each other, it is impossible for the common people to know the illegal and scandalous acts done by the officials, even those scandals been revealed by foreign press, the CCP government will treat it like a state secret, anyone who dare to criticize the officials will get revenge by been prosecuted. Therefore, the people’s supervision of the government is just a decoration, a means used by the CCP to paralyze the people. By using various news media it controls, the CCP often make fake news to divert people’s attention and deceive them. If only listen to the one-sided words of these media, it is impossible to expose the dark side of the officials’ corruption. In China under the CCP’s one-party dictatorship, the people unable to supervise the government, nor can the news media expose the dark side of the government. Therefore, the CCP’s one-party dictatorship is the source of corruption.
