The China democracy Party has long advocated the establishment of a fair, just and prosperous society. I hope that China’s society is stable and people’s living standards continue to improve, I hope that China has a civilized political system. I hope that Chinese people can fully express their political view and have the right to freedom of speech. I hope the Chinese government can tolerate different political voices and can truly accommodate the existence of parties and dissident groups with different political views. Today, The CCP (China Communist Party) still detains many dissidents in prison, and many petitioners are still being persecuted. The basic human rights of ordinary people are arbitrarily trampled, and the freedom of speech is ruthlessly deprived. All this goes against the universal values of justice, freedom, and democracy. On March 20, 2021, the U.S State Department issued the 2020 Human Rights Report, the section of China mentions that “China Democracy Party remained banned, and the government continued to monitor, detain, and imprison its current and former members. China Democracy Party founder Qin Yongmin, detained with his wife Zhao Suli in 2015, has been in Hubei’s Qianjiang prison since 2018 for “subversion of state power.” I strongly appeal to the Chinese Communist Party to reform its political system and implement the separation of powers of legislation, administration and judiciary, especially the legal system under judicial independence, so that China can move toward a modern and civilized society.
