Sun, Ning: China needs to move towards the rule of law
孙宁(Sun, Ning)
The CCP's constitution clearly states that Chinese citizens have freedom of assembly, freedom of speech, and freedom of religious belief.
But the actual situation in China is that when people really pursue these things, they will be suppressed by the CCP government!
Chinese teachers are well-known and respected by people!
However, the hard work of Chinese teachers has not been properly protected, and the rights and interests of teachers have been violated by the local government!
Primary and secondary school teachers in Guizhou Province held a strike to protest against the government's deduction of bonuses. More than 6,000 primary and secondary school teachers in Nanpan City, Guizhou Province went on strike.
They gathered at their respective campuses, holding slogans or banners such as "The government does not keep its word" and "protect the legitimate rights and interests of teachers", and went to the city government to protest. A large number of CCP police rushed to the scene to raise the isolation line to guard and obstruct.
In a joint protest letter, the teachers pointed out that the CCP's education department broke its word and cut the teacher's bonus in half for no reason.
Teachers seek explanations from the government through petitions, letters, etc., but they are kicked around for various reasons by various government departments, and they are even ignored in the end. Out of patience, they had no choice but to strike for the rights of teachers.
The local CCP government and the Education Bureau made a strong statement on this: No matter what the reason, it is wrong to strike a class. Holding a protest rally violates the school's disciplinary regulations, and teachers who participate in the rally must be punished.
The teachers said they would not give in and must persist in the struggle to the end.
There is a big gap between the actual situation in China and the implementation of the Constitution.
It can be seen that China needs political reform and moves towards the rule of law.
