Wang, Jinping: Inquiring about politics on TV is a false move
王金萍(Wang, Jinping)
The CCP's governance methods and methods are varied, and new tricks are often introduced, otherwise it would not be called governance.
The CCP claims that the reform of government functions is to transform the original management-oriented government into a service-oriented government.
In response to this request, many local governments have adopted televised political inquiries, claiming that the leadership of the CCP government will answer and solve the questions raised by representatives from all walks of life on the spot.
However, these TV programs are often only a mere formality, and cannot really improve the government's management.
In fact, the people in mainland China are not very interested in asking government affairs on TV, but rather hope that officials can make government affairs public.
For example: consumption expenditure of public funds, bidding for construction projects, compensation for land acquisition and demolition, subsidies for the poor and so on.
Due to the lack of transparency in these aspects of government affairs, CCP officials work in the black box, which has resulted in serious corruption and caused great dissatisfaction among the people in mainland China.
Modern civilized society is an open society, government management should be completely open and transparent, and people have full right to know, which can effectively reduce corruption.
If the CCP authorities really want to improve the government's management functions, they should take concrete campaigns and take practical measures in the openness of government affairs, rather than just making statements in front of the TV screen, like acting.
If China can achieve democracy, the Chinese people will have human rights, the country will be governed by law, officials will be clean, and social fairness and justice will be guaranteed to the greatest extent.
