Zhu,Fengxia:The CCP Strictly Blocks the Internet
朱凤霞(Zhu,Fengxia)
The CCP deceives the people and promotes itself.
At the World Internet Conference, the CCP claimed that all countries have the right to formulate network policies, monitor network markets, and maintain network security according to their own national conditions.
The CCP requires all countries to respect China's network policies, not to interfere in China's internal affairs, and not to forcibly promote their own network standards to China.
Autocratic countries are most afraid of people contacting the outside world, and do everything possible to isolate their own people.
Since the advent of the Internet, because of the ability to spread information across borders, a few totalitarian countries such as the CCP and North Korea have been terrified of imminent enemies, and have implemented strict Internet blockades, even rising to the point of safeguarding national sovereignty.
However, the irony is that the CCP itself takes advantage of the borderless nature of the Internet to expand its influence and beautify its image. For example, the world-renowned social networking site "Twitter" is blocked in mainland China, but the CCP has set up a special page on "Twitter" to brag about itself to the world, which is really a great irony.
