In the early days of China’s reform and opening up policy, the CCP once vigorously welcomed foreign companies to enter China, hoping to attract foreign businessmen to invest and operate in China by providing various preferential conditions, and to use the technology and management experience of foreign companies to promote the rapid development of China’s economy.
However, with the tightening of politics, the CCP＇s attitude towards foreign businessmen has now begun to turn tough.
The new trend of the CCP is to go back to the old path of planned economy, strengthen the national capital system, monopolize the important market of people＇s livelihood, advocate the advancement of the state and the retreat of the private sector, suppress and supervise private enterprises, and trample on market rules. The investment environment is full of uncertainty. China is becoming a risky place for foreign manufacturers.
The reason why the CCP has changed its face towards foreign companies is that the authorities are worried that the infiltration of foreign forces will control the economic lifeline of mainland China, which is not conducive to the stability of the CCP regime. Therefore, the CCP’s control of foreign companies is becoming increasingly indifferent, and the control of the CCP is gradually tightening, making foreign companies situation is getting more and more difficult.
Now, many foreign businessmen are considering withdrawing from China and preparing to turn to other countries for development.
