In recent years, China＇s rapid economic development has come at the expense of the natural environment.
A large number of forests in China have been brutally cut down, a large number of good fields have been developed commercially, a large amount of waste water has been discharged into rivers and lakes, and a large amount of toxic waste gas has been discharged into the blue sky. The living environment of society is deteriorating and people＇s health is seriously threatened.
As Chinese people＇s awareness of environmental protection gradually strengthens, more and more people actively report behaviors that damage the environment, forcing the Chinese Communist Party to strengthen the punishment of officials who fail to enforce environmental protection laws.
According to official statistics in mainland China, more than 600 officials have been punished by the party and government for environmental protection issues.
However, despite the CCP’s increased punishment, the deterioration of the environment in mainland China still needs to be improved. The main reason is that local governments ignore environmental protection for the sake of economic interests, sacrifice the environment in pursuit of production value, and try their best to violate the instructions of superiors and environmental protection laws and regulations. Ways to evade punishment, the result is that the environment is getting worse and worse.
I suggest: While severely punishing behaviors that damage China＇s environmental degradation, the CCP authorities should step up efforts to severely punish corruption! We must fundamentally improve the problem of environmental degradation. Build a beautiful living environment for the benefit of the people.
