Wang,Yini: China will integrate into the mainstream of civilization in human society
汪旖旎(Wang,Yini)
After China's Revolution of 1911, China's two thousand-year imperial system ended and the Republic of China was established.
Although the new republican system is not mature enough and the feudal autocracy has not completely withdrawn from the stage of history, China as a whole is still slowly moving forward.
But later, President Yuan Shikai tried to proclaim himself emperor, causing feudal restoration and delaying China's political process.
This history is now being repeated in mainland China.
Since China proposed reform and opening up, China has slowly evolved towards a normal country. Its economy has become increasingly globalized, personal life has become increasingly free, and centralized power has begun to disperse.
However, with the new leadership of the Communist Party of China coming to power, the authoritarian era seems to be returning, with freedoms being suppressed, the government controlling the economy, and leader worship re-emerging.
Throughout history, President Yuan Shikai's proclaiming himself emperor delayed China's political development, but this process cannot be stopped. Imperialism is gone forever in China.
The CCP authorities are currently restoring autocracy, but they cannot completely stop China's political progress. Sooner or later, China will integrate into the mainstream of civilization in human society.
