The less confident a person is in his heart, the more he talks nonsense to the outside world, and the same is true for the CCP.
As Marxist theory, the socialist road, and the communist ideal increasingly lose the support of the people, the CCP authorities, in addition to continuing to bluff, have added cultural self-confidence to embolden themselves and put money on their faces.
This cultural self-confidence, according to the explanation of the CCP propaganda agency, means maintaining self-confidence in traditional Chinese culture.
This explanation is somewhat puzzling, because China’s traditional culture, including etiquette, justice, integrity, loyalty, filial piety, benevolence, gentleness, courtesy, frugality, etc., is completely incompatible with the Marxist theory currently upheld by the CCP.
Former Chairman of the Communist Party of China Mao Zedong used Marxism to oppose traditional Chinese culture. He said that Marxist doctrines are multifaceted, but in the final analysis they can be summed up in one sentence: "Rebellion is justified", which is to replace "gentleness, courtesy, thrift and concessions" with violent revolution.
This shows that the CCP currently adheres to Marxism and promotes traditional Chinese culture, which are two contradictory statements.
