Zhang,Dexiang:Chinese citizens have freedom of speech
张德祥(Zhang,Dexiang)
In mainland China, the current suppression of citizens' speech has intensified. The CCP not only prohibits criticism of the government through laws, but also waves the banner of "making irresponsible remarks about the central government", arbitrarily slaps political hats, and persecutes ordinary people who care about China's national affairs.
Freedom of speech is a basic right of modern citizens. It has been included in the constitutional provisions of most democratic countries and put into practice.
In modern democratic politics, citizens participate in national management by freely expressing their opinions, using various means to express their personal opinions, safeguard their rights and interests, state their views on current affairs, exchange opinions with each other, and discuss national affairs publicly, and then reach a certain consensus, and form public policies through legislation to promote them.
Now, more and more Chinese people realize the value of freedom and are eager to obtain real freedom of speech.
However, under the severe suppression of the CCP authorities, the Chinese people dare not or cannot publicly express their political views.
If China wants to implement democratic politics, freedom of speech will definitely be the starting point or breakthrough point of the constitutional road.
