Because the free democratic system of capitalist countries can constantly adjust itself and prevent social contradictions from intensifying.
On the contrary, the so-called "advanced" socialist countries that emerged after World War II implemented a planned economy, resulting in commodity shortages and poverty, established the dictatorship of the proletariat, deprived the people of their happiness and freedom, and lagged far behind capitalist countries in national development. After the 1980s, they collapsed one after another and were replaced by the capitalist system. At present, there are fewer and fewer socialist countries.
